Management Services Rotational Analyst

Program overview

Our Management Services (MS) Rotational Program provides process and project management support for the internal businesses of our firm. The program is recognized and admired for developing a pipeline of talent for the vital functional areas that support the firm's business infrastructure.

As a result of this rotational program structure, you’ll have an excellent grasp of the opportunities available to you, a good idea of where your career interests are and a highly visible profile.

Management Services Analyst

Rotational tracks

Our Rotational program provides analysts with three to four intra- or inter-line of business assignments that are typically 6-9 months in duration.

Cross Line of Business Rotational track

Analysts rotate across major lines of business and corporate functions for 24 months, focusing on strategic business initiatives, process reengineering, and project management. Primary rotation sponsors include Investment Bank Operations, Treasury & Securities Services, and Asset Management, as well as corporate functions. Inter-line of business networking opportunities are provided for analysts in addition to core OMST training. Post-rotational placement opportunities occur between months 21-24 and are based in locations and line of businesses supporting the program

Private Bank Rotational track

Analysts rotate within Private Bank Shared Services for 24 months, focusing on project consulting and business analysis across the investments, banking, credit, and fiduciary businesses. PB specific training provided for analysts in addition to core OMST training. Post-rotational placement opportunities occur after 24 months and are based within Private Bank Shared Services.

Your new job

Depending upon our firm’s immediate needs at the time of your hire, you will be asked to

perform several functions which are not limited to, but usually include, the following:

Project Management

• Project Consulting and Business Analysis
• Perform PMO Functions
• Support and/or lead large or small scale business initiatives
• Support Migration efforts
• Manage project documentation

Process Management

• Productivity management, performance reporting and control
• Develop operating models, procedures and standards
• Document, analyze, redesign and re-engineer processes
• Identify/implement on process improvements

Throughout the program you’ll receive classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training, as well as career coaching to ensure continuous skill and professional development. As a Management Services analyst, you’re given several unique training and career development opportunities outside of your assignments so that you may expand and fine-tune your core skill set. This includes:

• Developing & fine tuning key business, professional, project management & leadership skills
• Participating in formal training & development activities

From day one, this program provides you with training on a variety of business-applicable topics to ensure that you are able to excel in your assignment. During the remainder of the program, you are consistently offered classes that challenge you to re-evaluate your thinking and prepare you for future challenges you may encounter. Your development program will also include the assignment of a designated Development Manager who will:

• Provide real-time coaching
  
• Facilitate the performance management process

Qualifications

To be seriously considered for these program positions, you must have a demonstrated interest working within the corporate infrastructure of a financial services institution. You must also possess the proven ability to: synthesize information; reach logical conclusions; manage projects; evaluate and improve processes; and present findings clearly. Other requirements include:

• BS/BA degree
• GPA of 3.2+ is preferred
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal communication, and quantitative/qualitative analytical skills
• PC proficiency (MS Office)
• Team-spirited attitude
• Willingness to take the initiative
• Resourceful thinking
• Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S.

* Priority will be given to those with related work experience
