Operations & Management Services Program
We seek highly motivated individuals for opportunities within our Operations, Management Services and Technology (OMST) Program. The description below outlines the 10 week summer internship within the Operations and Management Services Program (OMS)
Program Overview
The summer internship is mirrored after the full time Operations and Management Services program. The OMS Program supports the major lines of business within JPMorgan Chase and the core functional groups that traverse these business lines. The lines of business supported by the OMS Summer Intern Program include Investment Bank, Asset Management, Treasury & Securities Services, Retail Financial Services, and all of the Corporate Functions (will vary by location.) As an OMS intern, you will have an opportunity to contribute to a specific business assignment within the firm.
The OMS Program provides internal clients at JPMorgan Chase with talent to support business processes, solve business problems and develop strategic solutions. Analysts in the full-time programs are highly sought after by our clients for their ability to learn quickly and immediately contribute to business objectives .
Opportunities
The summer internship program is primarily for students entering their senior year of college, with some opportunities for rising sophomores and juniors. OMS interns work on assignments involving multi functional skills, with a primary focus on operations, process improvement, project management, reporting and analysis.
In addition, interns participate in a series of activities that give them the opportunity to learn about other areas of the firm and enhance their exposure to the firm’s diverse businesses and people.
These include presentations by business leaders, receptions, buddy programs, and luncheons with senior managers and current OMS full-time Analysts. OMS Summer Interns are encouraged to apply for the full-time Operations and Management Services programs.
