As someone without a formal business education...
...taking an accounting class was immensely helpful. Not only did I develop a better skill set, but I was able to familiarize myself with the financial world...
...and meet people who have had extensive education in areas relevant to banking.
That being said, many of my liberal arts classes were just as, maybe even more, instrumental in preparing me for the challenges and the opportunities here at JPMorgan Chase.

I have gained a lot from my mentor.
The advice he gives me comes from his personal experiences at the bank. My mentor has worked for JPMorgan Chase for almost 20 years...
...and his different experiences have left him with a wealth of knowledge that I am able to tap in to.
Despite his executive status with the bank, he maintains a down-to-earth and common sense approach to whatever he does. I am extremely comfortable asking him anything.
