Finance Associate Leadership Program

JPMorgan Chase is one of the leaders of financial and risk management in the financial services industry. Under the leadership of our Corporate CFO, our Finance Organization is responsible for the company's financial management. Structurally, our Finance Organization encompasses Corporate Teams such as Planning and Analysis, Controllers, Mergers & Acquisitions, Treasury and Investor Relations as well as business teams within Asset Management, Investment Banking, Treasury & Securities Services, Retail Financial Services and Commercial Banking. Because Finance professionals are integrated into every business, geography and function, their role is both collaborative and advisory.

They provide client-driven perspectives on performance, strategy, control issues and operating models. As the first to see and assess the businesses' results, Finance professionals are ideally placed to spot market developments and opportunities and advise the businesses about how to act on them.

Mid-Finance professionals provide both tactical and strategic support to businesses, regions and functions throughout the firm. They assimilate and analyze disparate information and determine how it will affect the firm. They produce financial statements, report results, work with regulators, assess and manage risk, optimize the firm's tax position and prepare its returns. They are also on the front lines with Analysts and investors.

As they gain experience, JPMorgan Chase Finance professionals may work with business managers at all levels, including top executive management and our board of directors. They are also often offered opportunities to work abroad. Typically, they develop skills that are in constant demand in any business environment, such as leadership, teamwork, risk management, process redesign, project management, critical thinking and communications.
